Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport is looking for a Transport Call Taker/Scheduler. This position requires effective and timely communication directly with our Heavy Haul Transport Division, including incoming phone calls, accurately processing and entering call information into the dispatch software system, while also delivering a high level of customer service to all phone inquiries.

Essential Functions:
- Coordinates the transportation of truckloads, ensuring efficient and timely delivery
- Receive and promptly answer emergency and non-emergency calls.
- Gather all required and pertinent information: Name and phone number, disablement location and drop address, vehicle info, cause of breakdown, etc.
- Perform duties of the Dispatcher Assistant in their absence as directed.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Heavy Haul Transport required
- Experience in data entry and customer service.
- Hands-on experience working in stressful and/or emergency.

- Great interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High School diploma.
Pay:
- $17 - $18
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday - 12 pm to 8 pm
