We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our new Chicopee, MA, warehouse. This position is tasked with acquiring new talent for our growing company, and will be highly specialized to keep pace with current growth and any newly created opportunities. The incumbent must have extensive experience locating & acquiring top talent with a keen eye for reviewing resumes/applications and conducting thorough interviews. This position will also entail carrying out various HR related duties/initiatives. This position reports to the HR/Benefits Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

High-volume Recruiting: Responsible for ensuring that staffing levels are met and maintained for
warehouse operations. -
Create exceptional and vigorous search strategies to identify and attract the highest caliber of
candidates. -
Manage full-cycle recruiting to support multiple departments to include hourly and salaried
positions. - Develop and update job descriptions and specifications.

Work closely with local staffing agencies, business groups and unemployment offices to promote
Fisher Auto Parts. Participate in/organize job fairs, networking events, and campus/business
recruiting activities. -
Effectively use job search websites for potential recruits and contact candidates directly. Experience
with Indeed, LinkedIn, etc. preferred. - With a high attention to detail screen applicants & select best candidates for interviews.

Be directly involved and partner with management team to conduct interviews and select best
candidates for open positions. -
Assist with worker compensation claims, leave management (FMLA, Disability, etc.), and assist with
benefit administration (answer questions, help employees enroll in benefits, etc.). -
Provide support to employees in various HR-related initiatives and ensure superior
applicant/employee experience. - Promote HR and other Company programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR Metrics related to time to hire and turnover.
- Maintain current knowledge of all HR related laws and guidelines.

Support HR/Benefits Manager and Senior Management team in other related work, special projects,
and perform other duties as assigned.
- Proven knowledge of laws surrounding the interview / hiring process.
- Proven track record of innovative methods to recruit the targeted workforce which results in turnover reduction.
- Experience with UKG-Ready.
- An ability to think and plan ahead while being able to organize multiple projects and complete on time.
- Strong analytic skills, ability to analyze data, and solve problems.
- Must communicate well to all levels of the company, provide excellent customer service, as well as demonstration exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of and a commit to team performance and strong/effective ability to coach others.
- Performs work accurately and thoroughly. Has regular and consistent attendance.
- Skill in the use of computers and related software applications, preferably with a PC (Windows-based) operating system such as Microsoft Office, and proficient with Google email and Google docs.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local HR laws pertinent to the company.
- Monitor and maintain employee information and files, including accurately inputting employee data.

Able to create and deliver organizational training and development programs.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is a requirement for this position.
- Submission of a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
- Must satisfactorily pass a pre-employment drug test if applicable.
- Limited physical effort required in a professional office environment
- Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as proximity to office
- equipment and household type chemicals.
