Position Summary
The Human Resources Volunteer supports various administrative and daily activities of the HR department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support new hire onboarding by preparing paperwork, coordinating/conducting orientation, and ensuring compliance with HR policies.
- Assist with maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Research and support HR projects as needed.
- Assist in tracking and organizing HR metrics and reports.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Support the HR team in compliance and documentation efforts, including policy updates and record-keeping.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support HR and Recruitment functions.

Experience, Education, Certifications/Licenses
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Prior internship or relevant coursework in human resources, recruitment, or employee relations is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
