Human Resource Administrative and Recruitment Assistant Needed
Position Summary:
The Human Resource Administrative and Recruitment Assistant works with the Human Resource team supporting key HR focus areas, administrative needs, as well as employee engagement for the organization. The individual holding this position is the first impression to guests, applicants, and future employees.
Job Responsibilities:

- Answers and directs departmental phone calls
- Screens candidates, selects qualified candidates and initiates first round interview via telephone/email. Updates HRIS system as necessary.
- Schedules qualified/ interested candidates for on-site interviewing phase using HRIS system.
- Checks candidates references and credentials, and performs on-site drug testing
- May performs on-site interviews and facility tours as necessary
- Performs other administrative duties that support the HR department
- May attend external job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities as well as assisting with the coordination and execution of internal engagement efforts.
- Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Two years front desk reception/ Administrative Assistant experience
- At least two years of Human Resource Department or related experience preferred
- Experience in recruitment and onboarding of new employees
- Knowledge of and experience in HRIS/payroll systems preferred
- Experience in customer service
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Excel

- Experience in recruitment strategies, interviewing and onboarding processes
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to multi-task with a high sense of urgency
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with supporting departments
- Must be able to sit at a desk/working on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to speak/hold conversations for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to provide walking tour of on-site location
- Exceptional computer skills/written and verbal etiquette
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
