Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in various legal tasks, focusing on Immigration and Naturalization Laws.
Duties
- Conduct legal research using tools such as Lexis
- Assist in preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic files
- Transcribe legal documents and correspondence
- Assist with case preparation for Immigration Court
- Communicate with clients, immigration, and court personnel
- Handle administrative tasks to support the legal team
Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish) perferable
- Preferablly knowledge of immigration and naturalization laws (we are willing to train an unexperienced candidate)
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to transcribe accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with legal administrative procedures and protocols
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
