A fantastic opportunity for the right candidate!! We are a distributor and fabricator of plastic sheet, rod and tube. We are looking for an inside sales/estimating person who is comfortable pricing materials and estimating custom fabrication requests, preferably someone with prior plastic manufacturing sales experience. Because there are so many different types, sizes, and colors of "plastics", we want you to learn the characteristics of each and how to estimate and price them for our customers. From this position, you can advance to other sales positions, or you can stay where you are. The choice is yours!
Responsibilities
- Source project materials.
- Make lists of fabrication steps and input into Excel model
- Confirm steps and processing times with fabrication team.
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
- Team with sales staff in other locations to build pipeline and close deals
Skills
- Must have strong math and fraction skills to determine square footage of materials
- MUST HAVE verifiable inside sales and estimating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient with estimating tools/excel
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- BA/BS degree or equivalent

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
