We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Inventory/Materials Coordinator to maintain inventory operations across multiple local facilities. This role combines inventory management, materials movement, and coordination with purchasing, production and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate stock levels, manage reorder points, and lead cycle counts and quarter-end audits.
- Track all incoming/outgoing items, document supply movements, and retrieve materials efficiently.
- Verify incoming materials, stage for storage and shop use, and pull and prep orders for outbound truck shipments.
- Oversee inventory distribution, manage line supply, and coordinate specialty job-related purchases.
- Use Excel to monitor trends and support forecasting efforts.
- Communicate inventory status with office and field teams; proactively notify when supplies are low.
- Maintain organized storage systems and logical inventory layouts.
- Manage tagging system, SOPs, and photo documentation.
- Ensure accuracy of returned packing slips and interpret vendor codes.
- Cooperate in safety programs, initiatives and investigations. Comply with all safety procedures.
- Participate in clean-up responsibilities and maintains daily good housekeeping practices according to 5S procedures.
- Perform other duties and tasks as required.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- 1-3 years experience in inventory management or processes
- Valid driver’s license (required for local transport between facilities)
- Forklift experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and warehouse operations
