Position Overview
The IT Sales Account Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the sales and account management functions of our business. This position ensures the accuracy of client accounts, assists with sales operations, and provides administrative support to the sales team.
The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced IT services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in CRM and other business systems.
- Assist account managers with client service agreements and renewals.
Sales Operations & Administration
- Managing sales boards and opportunities activities.
- Prepare, process, and track quotes in coordination with the team.
- Generate and analyze client hardware and software asset reports.
- Produce sales reports and assist with forecasting and pipeline management.
- Assist with company marketing and sales campaign activities.
Customer Service & Communication
- Responsible for managing the sales phone line and emails (shared responsibility).
- Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries related to orders, renewals, and account details.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client requests are handled promptly.
- Escalate technical or service issues to the appropriate departments.
Process & Compliance
- Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, contracts, and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation in every aspect of your work.
- Support sales leadership with administrative tasks, and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in sales administration, account management, or IT services support.
- Familiarity with IT products, software licensing, and managed services (highly desirable).
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., ConnectWise, Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office/Google Workspace.
