Requirements:
To be considered, candidates have at least 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal (Ideally in a Plaintiff environment on Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury matters.)
Your Duties:
- Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, gather information, and coordinate meetings
- Maintain case tracking software
- Manage case files, including organizing both physical and electronic records
- Update attorneys’ calendars, including scheduling depositions, court dates, meetings, and deadlines
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation and support, including organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and ensuring all materials are ready for trial
- Prepare billing statements and time entries
Compensation:
Depending on your knowledge level, our starting base salary range is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00. In addition, the firm pays discretionary case performance bonuses for exceptional work product, providing growth opportunities and a chance of earning a much higher gross income.
