Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Lock Desk Analyst to join our US Mortgage Operations team. This entry-level position is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience who are looking to start a career in the mortgage industry. You will play a critical role in managing loan pricing and rate lock processes while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution in line with investor and secondary market guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and monitor rate lock requests, re-locks, extensions, and loan changes.
Ensure accurate and compliant loan pricing based on client policies and investor guidelines.
Maintain and update data within the Loan Origination System (LOS) and pricing tools.
Communicate effectively with loan officers, processors, and the secondary market team.
Track lock expirations and proactively alert relevant stakeholders.
Assist in identifying and resolving any pricing discrepancies or issues.
Support internal/external audits by ensuring pricing and compliance documentation is accurate (e.g., LE and CD disclosures).
Stay current with market changes, pricing policies, and investor guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 0–1 year of experience (Freshers are encouraged to apply).
Required Skills:
Strong analytical and numerical aptitude.
Proficiency in MS Excel and general data handling.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with time-sensitive tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work night shifts to support US-based operations (Mandatory).
Familiarity with loan pricing engines such as Optimal Blue, Encompass, or Polly is a plus, but not required.
