Hello from the School of Cosplay here in Las Vegas!
We are a fun, educational facility where we teach the costuming arts/Cosplay to a variety of students of all ages and skill level. We are broken up into different departments where we teach the four major concentrations of costuming: Sewing, wigs, make-up, props/armor. The positions are entirely appointment based with limitations and a schedule that YOU select.

There are two types of Make-up instructors we are looking for to help on our growth as a team and facility - a SFX/Prosthetic focused instructor and a Glam/Beauty/Drag instructor.
Positions Open: (1) Part time
Position: Special Effects Instructor
Seeking: Experienced Makeup Instructor with strong professional background in prosthetics, special effect makeup, casting and molding to be working with a variety of ages and skill levels.
Will at times interact and work with other departments such as wigs, sewing, and props.
Patience, professionalism, and personality is a must as is organization and basic computer skills. Familiarity with various scenes of the fandom such as ren fairs, anime/video games preferred with a knowledge of the world of Cosplay.
Will represent the CosplayVegas brand with professionalism.
Requirements:
5+ years of Experience strongly preferred with industry/pro experience in shows, production, or film.
Knowledge of a variety of makeup sfx techniques, products, and resources for a range of skill levels and budgets.
Can analyze various 2D designs and concepts from paper and animation to bring to life.
Is capable of designing with the student a makeup design chart, assist in makeup recommendations, and is available for material consultations.
Knowledge of creating and applying prosthetics, hair, fake abrasions, wounds, scars, transformative sfx, and more.

Position: Glam/Drag Instructor
Seeking: Experienced Makeup Instructor with strong professional background in male/female/nonbinary drag styles to be working with a variety of ages and skill levels.
Will at times interact and work with other departments such as wigs, sewing, and props.
Patience, professionalism, and personality is a must as is organization and basic computer skills. Familiarity with various scenes of the fandom such as ren fairs, anime/video games preferred with a knowledge of the world of Cosplay.
Will represent the CosplayVegas brand with professionalism.
Requirements:

Knowledge of a variety of makeup techniques, products, and resources for a range of skill levels and budgets.
Can analyze various 2D designs and concepts from paper and animation to bring to life.
Is capable of designing with the student a makeup design chart, assist in makeup recommendations, and is available for material consultations.
Knowledge of how to reshape and contour a face, erasing, exaggerating, and creating features, apply facial hair via adhesives as well as attach/blend hairlines.
