Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, with expertise in managing nursing homes and assisted living environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to providing high-quality care for residents, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, and dementia.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- 3-5 years of Long-Term Care experience and as an administrator
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of residents.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and supervision to maintain a high standard of care.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective medication administration and health monitoring.
- Maintain budgetary controls and financial management for the facility.
- Foster a positive environment for residents, families, and staff through effective communication and leadership.
- Ensure quality assurance programs are in place to enhance resident satisfaction and safety.
- Collaborate with social workers to address residents' social and emotional needs.
- Oversee memory care programs and activities that promote engagement for residents with cognitive impairments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in nursing home administration or long-term care management.
- Strong background in assisted living, memory care, dementia care, or similar fields.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and resident-centered care.
- Knowledge of operations management, budgeting, and financial acumen is essential.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and healthcare regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff, and external partners.

Education Requirements:-
- Dependent on experience, high school diploma required.-
- Must have a current license to practice as a Nursing Home Administrator in Arizona-
- Driving in the course of State business is required. Must have a valid driver's license.-
- Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Pubic Safety.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $59.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
