JOB SUMMARY:
The Office Assistant provides support to team members through completion of various office tasks.
The Office Assistant will:
- Answer all incoming company phone calls.
- Be responsible for the daily processing and distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Complete scanning jobs.
- Prepare mailings including correspondence, records, and forms related to upcoming examinations.
- Provide data entry support of equipment and inventory.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the PPMC team.
- Operate computer, multiple software applications, and other office equipment as necessary.
CORE SKILLS:
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with time constraints.
- Work independently with minimal or no supervision
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous working experience in an office setting answering phones and providing clerical and administrative support.
- Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, other office productivity software
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands listed are a representation of what is expected of an employee to successfully meet and perform the necessary job duties.
- Sitting 6-8 hours per day.
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
- Occasionally subjective to bending, kneeling, and squatting.
