Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily office operations, ensuring smooth communication, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. The position can be part-time (20 hours/week) as an office assistant or full time hours (32 hours/week) if the applicant is also willing to clean and assist in sterilization.
Duties
- Assist in office operations, including filing, scheduling, and correspondence.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist with calendar management, ensuring appointments are scheduled and confirmed.
- Provide support as a dental receptionist, handling patient information and appointment logistics.
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy access to documents.
- Utilize phone systems effectively for communication with clients and team members.
- Analyze data from insurance companies and input data into dental software.
- Offer exceptional customer support, addressing client needs promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office workflow.
- Clean workspace and office on a daily and weekly schedule.
Skills
- Proficiency in office management practices and procedures.
- Strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Experience as a medical or dental receptionist is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with file management systems and organizational tools.
- Competence in using phone systems for effective communication.
- Excellent calendar management skills to coordinate schedules efficiently.
- Ability to work as a clerk, handling various administrative tasks as needed.
- Strong customer support skills, ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
- Proficient in Google Workspace applications for document creation and collaboration.
