For over 22 years, Milestones has been helping individuals transform their lives on a stunning 200-acre property in Malibu, California. We're a heart-centered, mission-driven team dedicated to meaningful recovery, compassionate care, and personal growth—for both our clients and our staff.
As Operations & Tech Manager, you’ll play a vital dual role that combines:
- Efficient, behind-the-scenes leadership, ensuring seamless daily operations and compliance
- High-touch, client-facing support, fostering a safe, professional, and healing environment
- Hotel-level attention to aesthetics, cleanliness, and readiness throughout the property
Key Responsibilities Operations Management
- Maintain a "hotel-ready" environment with strong attention to aesthetics, cleanliness, and ambiance in all common and private spaces
- Ensure the facility is consistently guest-ready: polished, professional, and welcoming
- Manage inventory, repairs, vendors, and supply orders with a proactive eye for quality and timeliness
- Ensure health and safety protocols (Joint Commission, OSHA, DHCS) are met with precision and professionalism
- Support risk management, emergency preparedness, and quality assurance initiatives
Tech Team & Client Engagement
- Supervise and guide the Residential Tech staff with strong leadership and accountability
- Ensure all client touchpoints reflect warmth, safety, and discretion
- Assist with medication observation, UDS/BA testing, transportation, and client transitions (intakes/discharges)
- Engage clients in their day-to-day routines with presence and compassion
- Foster a clean, safe, and therapeutic living space that encourages healing and respect

Must-Haves:
- Clean driving record with at least 5 years of experience
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check (2+ years sobriety required if in recovery)
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, iPhone tools)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience:
- Behavioral health, treatment center, or hospitality operations background
- Prior experience managing teams and facility logistics
- Strong eye for detail and "5-star" hospitality standards
