Job Description
The Operations & Fiscal Coordinator is a vital role within the Virginia Tech Institute for Policy and Governance - Richmond Applied Research Group. This position ensures that Group fiscal, logistical, and technical aspects of operations run smoothly. The Operations & Fiscal Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operations, space management, and asset tracking, while also providing administrative support for various Group needs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in reconciliation, encumbrance monitoring, and a general understanding of accounting principles
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Ability to complete tasks with limited supervision and guidance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database management.

- Demonstrated initiative
- Interest in public and non-profit sector organizational and workforce development
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and contexts
