Legacy Family Eyecare is looking to hire a front desk and optical technician position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients, answering the phone to schedule and to confirm appointments, and looking up patient's medical and/or vision insurance.
- Pretesting patients for the optometrist.
- Working with patients on insertion and removal of contact lenses.
- Helping to file medical insurance.
- Assisting the optometrist and front staff with patient flow.
- Helping the optician with selling, fitting, and distributing eyewear.
- Cross-training will be done for front desk duties as well and time will be split between technician and front desk duties.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience is preferred but willing to train.
- Strong customer relation skills, someone who likes to work with the public, outgoing, a multitasker, gets along well with others and is team oriented.
- Willingness to learn new information.
