Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $25.83 - $39.43. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

POSITION & UNIT ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary ALS/MDA clinic, ensuring smooth patient transitions and follow-up.
  • Serve as the patient liaison between a multidisciplinary care team to help patients, their families, and caregivers navigate a complex care journey.
  • Support patients with scheduling appropriate follow-up appointments and acquiring necessary equipment. Administratively, coordinate the ordering and delivery of patient equipment with external vendors and help troubleshoot delays.
  • Develop and maintain volume dashboard for key performance indicators.
  • Manage prior authorizations and supporting documentations with insurance carriers and collaborating closely with physicians and vendors.
  • Assist in the coordination of transportation for patients to and from clinic visit.
  • Maintain and streamline scheduling and documentation templates.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, patient outreach, and data collection for reporting needs.
  • Willingness to travel to Westchester Clinic once a month with team (transportation provided).
  • Perform administrative duties to support the ALS/MDA clinic and MD private clinical practice
  • Partner with administrative leadership to monitor and support scheduling changes
  • Prepare letters and memorandums to be reviewed and signed by MD
  • Answer telephone calls, take messages; retrieve messages frequently from voicemail, PerfectServe and patient messages via EPIC
  • Special assignments as needed.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

Associate’s degree or 5+ years of healthcare/administrative experience may be considered in lieu of education.
