The Production Administrator plays a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing production schedules that align with operational goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position ensures the efficient use of resources, timely execution of work orders, and smooth communication between departments to maintain continuous production flow.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop, update, and manage daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand, material availability, and labor capacity.
- Monitor and adjust schedules in real time to respond to delays, equipment downtime, or changes in order volume.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, line efficiency, downtime, and material usage; prepare performance reports and schedule adherence metrics.
- Communicate effectively across departments to ensure expectations and timelines are clear and achievable.
- Attend and contribute to scheduled meetings such as safety, production planning, and team huddles.
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite, can learn a new ERP software quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
