Job Summary:
The Project Manager serves as the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer (KO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), providing overall management and oversight for all contractor work performed under the task order. This key leadership role ensures effective communication with the Government, delivers required reports, and maintains a high standard of performance across all contract activities.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum five years of experience managing multi‑discipline teams supporting Government contracts.
- Bachelor's degree and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Availability by telephone during normal business hours (0800-1700 ET, Monday-Friday) and responsiveness within two days to resolve issues.
Essential Duties:
- Serve as the single point of contact for the KO and COR and manage all contractor work performed under the task order, designating an alternate during absences.
- Provide monthly status reports summarizing work performed, technical progress, schedule status, travel conducted, and concerns or recommendations.
- Conduct biweekly meetings with the COR to discuss progress, exchange information, and resolve emergent technical issues.
- Remain available to the COR by telephone during business hours and respond to requests within two days.
- Oversee preparation of written reports using formats compatible with USCG systems such as Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF.
- Ensure contractor personnel maintain ethical standards, comply with USCG rules and regulations, present a professional appearance, and are U.S. citizens.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent presentation skills.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
