Kitchen Director
This is not a chef position. This person is the most senior level manager at a kitchen site. Experience managing food service is not helpful in this position; experience in coaching and managing property and tenants is required. This is a sales and property management position; the Kitchen Director is expected to ensure the facility is filled and members are properly supported. Kitchen experience is not expected nor required. Experience in property management and coaching (sport, business, etc) will prepare the best candidate. Excellent customer service skills are mandatory.
The Director runs the facility and team and ensures our members are both growing as companies and compliant with the facility policies. This position reports to the Director of Operations or their designated corporate representative.
Job Duties
- Handle all sales for the facility ensuring maximum capacity for the kitchen.
- Answer phones and emails for potential leads, schedule facility tours.
- Manage Leads, conduct tours, counsel incoming entrepreneurs on business processes and procedures.
- Evaluate potential and existing members for compatibility in the kitchen environment
- Ensures all leads and member files are current and up to date in CRM.
- Audit shelving inventory and invoicing weekly to ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Generate contracts and manage membership spaces
- After hours on-call for emergency response
- Manage all Staffing of the facility, including employee hiring and evaluations
- Trains and Manages workload and tasks for onsite operations team
- Responsible for operations staff regular reviews and corrective measures
- Responsible for submitting payroll and approving time off requests
- Responsible for Member Relations and Customer Satisfaction
- Consults with and counsels members and leads on business opportunities, growth and kitchen production
- Holds members accountable to their contractual agreements
- Manages member relationships with Frontier Kitchen, protecting the brand and messaging
- Mains relationships with local regulators and government officials.
- Review member regulatory paperwork for compliance, as appropriate
- Financial Management of Kitchen Operations
- Makes sure all invoices are correct and payment is in compliance
- Manage facility budget, maintain purchase authority for kitchen needs
- Report on equipment life cycle and capital improvement needs
- Conduct invoicing audits
- Issue fines and credits to members, as needed
Required Skills

- Sales experience required; retail sales or property rental/sales experience desired
- Some financial knowledge and basic understanding of revenue/expenses.
- No kitchen skills needed; equipment knowledge will be trained
- Willingness and experience in teaching/coaching

- Computer experience including sales software and invoicing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
