Position Summary: We're seeking an experienced and driven Account Executive to help us grow our customer base across North America. This is a quota-carrying role responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a hunter mentality, a strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, and the ability to build relationships with executive-level decision-makers. You’ll focus on outbound prospecting, converting inbound interest, and managing the full sales process— qualifying prospects, schedule demos with the company’s founder and collecting customer signatures.
This role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person attendance at the InnovA Fort Worth office—typically once a month—for All-Hands meetings or training sessions as needed. DFW (or surrounding area) residents strongly preferred.
Key Roles / Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, and contract negotiation.
- Proactively target auction companies and equipment sellers using outbound outreach (calls, email, social, events).
- Qualify prospects based on InnovA’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), including company size, sales model, and revenue.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth post-sale handoff.
- Track all sales activities in HubSpot and maintain clean pipeline data and accurate forecasting.
- Provide feedback from prospects to help shape product positioning, pricing, and marketing efforts.
- Represent InnovA at industry conferences, trade shows, and other strategic events.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Experience selling SaaS, cloud-based platforms, or technology solutions.
- Background in the auction, equipment, logistics, or industrial sales sector is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot experience preferred).
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
- Moves throughout the building to access files.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
- Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
