We are seeking a proven sales professional who is motivated to grow with a small, entrepreneurial company. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, the ability to shape large-scale opportunities, and future leadership potential as our business continues to expand.
Role Overview
The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, primarily targeting organizations with 70–150 salespeople. You will engage directly with owners of smaller companies (under 20 salespeople) and with VPs of Sales, Marketing, or Regional Leadership in larger organizations. There is also the opportunity to pursue large-scale training projects with Fortune 500 companies.
This is not an account management role—your primary focus will be business development and growth. However, there will be opportunities to expand business within existing client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and close training engagements with mid-size companies and Fortune 500 opportunities.
- Develop and execute creative deal structures and consulting packages tailored to client needs.
- Leverage existing corporate relationships to accelerate business growth.
- Deliver persuasive messaging aligned with the Value-Added Selling® philosophy.
- Work directly with the company owner to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
- Provide insights into client needs and industry trends to help shape future offerings.
Ideal Candidate
- Sales Experience: Several years of successful sales experience, ideally with exposure to selling professional services, consulting, or training solutions.
- Leadership Background: Previous experience in sales leadership (e.g., Sales Manager or VP of Sales) strongly preferred.
- Business Development Focus: Track record of winning new accounts and driving revenue growth.
- Value-Added Selling Knowledge: Familiarity with value-based or consultative selling methodologies.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable working in a small business environment with limited support resources compared to larger corporations.
- Relationship Builder: Ability to leverage an existing network of corporate contacts to open doors and secure deals.
- Creative Deal Maker: Capable of structuring customized training and consulting solutions to meet client needs.
