Description: CRG is seeking a full-time joint SharePoint Manager and Quality Manager to support a contract with the Military Health System (MHS) Communications and Public Affairs (CPA) office, and the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Director’s Communication and Public Affairs Division (DCPAD). This individual will serve as the primary SharePoint site manager for the MHS CPA and DCPAD internal communication pages, working with various tools such as Microsoft List, Power Automate, Power App, Microsoft Planner, and more. They will also serve as the primary copy editor and quality reviewer for our team, ensuring compliance with branding guidance, MHS, DHA, and AP Style standards, grammar rules, and overall product quality. They will work directly with the Senior Program Manager to ensure that the division’s digital assets are maintained and organized, repetitive work is automated, and the CRG MHS CPA/DCPAD team is meeting the highest quality standards across the board.
Duties and Tasks:
- Maintain MHS CPA and DCPAD SharePoint sites and Microsoft Teams. This includes updating toolkits, modifying documents libraries, creating custom views, and modifying permission settings when appropriate, as well as triaging internal and external requests from both sites.
- Manage automatic workflows for MHS CPA and DCPAD with Microsoft Power Automate.
Updates DCPAD’s website request form on Power App. - Manage the various request forms based out of Microsoft Lists. Ensure they align with the production schedule.
- Incorporate Microsoft Planner into communication projects for the Planning team, Strategy team, Web team, and more.
- Develop new tools and techniques to improve MHS CPA and DCPAD processes.
- Ensure products, including communication plans, strategy documents, speeches, scripts, graphics, videos, and social media posts, meet MHS and DHA quality standards by providing copy editing as well as branding and style reviews as requested by team leads or the senior program manager.
- Be able to build and establish relationships with J-6, DHA’s SharePoint system owners, MHS CPA and DCPAD clients, and team leads.
- Ensure products comply with Section 508 of the Individuals with Disabilities Act requirements.
- Write and update Standard Operating Procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in government public affairs and communication.
- 3+ years in MS SharePoint and MS Teams management, including demonstrated experience
with MS Power Automate, Power Apps, MS lists, MS Planner, and similar tools.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication skills as well as excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and virtual environment both independently and as a team.
- Demonstrated capability in editing and AP Style.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience coding Microsoft Power Automate, Power App and similar tools.
- Master’s degree in communication or marketing.
- Experience supporting Military Health System.
- SharePoint development expertise.
- DINFOS trained.
Location: Primarily remote. On occasion, duties require the employee to be on-site at the Defense Health Headquarters in Falls Church, VA.
