Opportunity Overview
We're seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to architect, enhance, and maintain our enterprise collaboration solutions. You'll leverage the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to build innovative business applications while modernizing our SharePoint environment. This role combines technical expertise with business process optimization, requiring both development skills and strategic thinking.
Core Responsibilities
SharePoint Solutions Development
- Design and implement custom solutions using SharePoint Online/2019, SPFx, and Power Platform
- Develop web parts, forms, and workflows using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
- Lead our SharePoint modernization initiative (classic to modern UI migration)
- Architect and maintain site collections, hubs, and information architecture
Integration & Automation
- Build connectors and APIs to integrate SharePoint with Dynamics 365, Smartsheet, and legacy systems
- Develop Power Automate flows and Power Apps to digitize business processes
- Implement Azure-based solutions for enhanced scalability and performance
Governance & Optimization
- Establish and enforce SharePoint governance policies and best practices
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize existing implementations
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex SharePoint/Power Platform issues
Technical Requirements
Must-Have Expertise:
- 5+ years SharePoint development (2019/Online) with strong C#, .NET, JavaScript skills
- 3+ years hands-on experience with:
- Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and REST APIs
- Azure services for SharePoint solutions
- Proven experience in:
- SharePoint migrations and modernization projects
- Developing custom web parts and solutions
- PowerShell scripting and automation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certifications (SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure)
- Experience with ECM systems (OpenText, Smartsheet)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams integration patterns
