We are in the business of children! We’re looking to add a detail-oriented and experienced Temporary Human Resources Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records and auditing documentation and records.
Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements:
§ High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred
§ At least two years of professional work experience
§ Experience or understanding of child care programs, early childhood education, social services, or community action programs preferred
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Must exhibit a positive attitude, professional manner, and be an example to others in the areas of problem-solving, teamwork, interpersonal relationships, support of management decisions, and commitment to ELC’s mission.
What You Will Do (Summary):
§ Clean up and organize folders on the server for migration
§ Maintain and update employee records/files accurately and confidentially
§ Digitize and organize paper files into the system
§ Verify payroll and benefits information
§ Manage HR Tracking tools and processes
§ Review and update HR policies and procedures
§ Prepare and distribute HR-related documents and reports
§ Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including interview scheduling and candidate communication
§ Support onboarding and offboarding processes
§ Report suspected fraud (internal and/or external) via ELC-established procedures
§ Participate as directed in all ELC quality improvement efforts to achieve optimum organizational performance
§ Contact a manager immediately in the event an allegation of abuse, neglect, or exploitation is received

Salary Range: Depends on Experience (25-29 hours per week)
