Summary
Willmar Electric is seeking a Recruiting & Human Resources Specialist with a passion for building strong relationships and supporting people. This dynamic, full-time role combines recruiting, onboarding, and general HR support. You'll play a key part in growing and supporting our workforce across multiple locations, while assisting in HR programs and internal functions.
*This position may be based out of Lincoln, NE; Lawton, OK; or Willmar, MN. Please specify your preferred location in your application.
Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection.
- Partner with schools and community organizations to build hiring pipelines.
- Assist with onboarding, new hire orientation, and employee events.
- Support HR with reporting, data tracking, and audits.
- Assist in coordination of continuing education classes.
- Stay current on employment laws and internal policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with internal recruiting processes and interviewing techniques.
- 3 years of experience in Recruitment and/or Human Resources.
- Experience with multiple Social Media Platforms.
- Ability to conduct research effectively to inform HR strategies.
