Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for someone to work Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays part time. Ideally the candidate would split their time between the Pflugerville and Hutto locations as needed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and excellent customer service skills to provide a welcoming environment for our clients and their pets.
Duties
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the reception area
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate records of patient information
- Handle payments and billing processes
- Provide information on services, products, and basic pet care to clients
- Ensure the reception area is clean and organized
Experience
- Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or animal-related setting is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in animal handling, restraint, and care
- Familiarity with animal husbandry practices
- Ability to assist with animal catheterization when necessary
- Experience in dog training, equine care, or kennel management is a plus

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
