Change Manager - Workday Implementation

We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to support our client with a major Workday implementation, supporting approximately 2,000 employees through the introduction of a new HRIS.

This is a key role within a significant HR transformation program, responsible for developing and executing the change strategy, ensuring stakeholder readiness, supporting adoption and helping deliver the intended business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end change management workstream for the Workday implementation.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies, plans and programs aligned with project requirements.
  • Conduct change impact assessments and change readiness activities.
  • Lead workshops, forums and information sessions to support the change journey.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure coordinated change and communication activities.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to support impacted teams through the transition.
  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
  • Use data and insights to assess adoption, identify gaps and drive sustained behavioural and process change.
  • Provide change updates and recommendations to executives and project sponsors.
  • Coordinate change activities with external implementation partners where required.
  • Develop change tools and resources to support future transformation initiatives.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and change expertise to other change resources supporting the program.
About You
  • Demonstrated experience independently leading the end-to-end change management workstream for a Workday implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday and an understanding of the people, process and organisational impacts of implementing an enterprise HRIS.
  • Proven experience leading major technology or business process change across an organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to create clear and engaging content.
  • Strong change impact assessment, readiness and adoption experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and provide clear advice and support.
  • Strong problem-solving, judgement and attention to detail.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable
  • Experience delivering change within an HR transformation.
  • Prosci certification or equivalent change management qualification.
  • Formal project management qualifications or experience.
  • Experience in HR, training or communications.
