As part of the continued development of our business systems and technology capabilities, we are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to support the analysis, improvement and implementation of business systems and processes across the organisation.
About the Position
The ICT Business Analyst will work closely with management, operational staff and external technology providers to analyse business requirements, identify opportunities for process and system improvement, and support the implementation and enhancement of information and communication technology solutions.
The position will act as a link between business stakeholders and technical service providers, ensuring that technology solutions effectively support the organisation's operational and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business processes, workflows and information requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Consult with management and business users to identify business needs, system requirements and operational issues.
- Gather, analyse and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Prepare business requirements specifications, process maps, workflow documentation and related business analysis documentation.
- Analyse existing business systems and recommend improvements to functionality, efficiency and information management.
- Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for automation and technology-enabled improvements.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external technology providers to implement system enhancements and new technology solutions.
- Translate business requirements into clear and practical functional requirements for technical stakeholders and software providers.
- Assist with the assessment and selection of business applications and technology solutions.
- Develop test scenarios and support system testing and user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate with users and technology providers to identify, investigate and resolve system issues.
- Prepare user documentation, procedures and training materials for new or enhanced systems.
- Assist with technology projects, digital transformation initiatives and business process improvement projects.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to management regarding business systems and technology improvements.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Analysis or a related discipline.
- 2-3 years experience working in an ICT Business Analyst or closely related business analysis role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google applications.
- Have great knowledge about Owners Corporation and OC Act 2006.
