About Us

Kinyara Health is a business with a unique mission: to keep personal, local care alive for ageing Australians and people living with disability, helping individuals find their forever home care within one of our remarkable, community-founded brands across New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.

In the face of significant industry reform, we've doubled down on this commitment. As a result, Kinyara has grown at pace, expanding into the hearts and homes of more Australians while staying true to the local care that defines us.

Our growing group operates through a distinctive service model, where long-established community businesses have their histories and connections honoured. These local teams are supported by shared services and a technology-forward approach that strengthens consistency and sustainability without compromising client experience or community connection.

Through growth and transition, we remain deeply anchored to our purpose, quality standards and culture, creating an environment that attracts thoughtful, capable people who are motivated to do meaningful work and make a genuine impact.

About The Role

We're looking for an Instructional Designer / eLearning Developer who loves bringing learning to life.

You'll be responsible for designing and developing engaging digital learning experiences that build capability across our organisation. Working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders, you'll transform knowledge, processes and information into learning that is clear, practical, interactive and easy to apply.

The initial focus of this role will be a significant learning content development project, designing and building a suite of eLearning experiences. You'll take existing knowledge, resources and processes and translate them into scalable digital learning that can be delivered consistently across our growing organisation.

This is a hands-on role where you'll create eLearning modules, learning pathways, assessments, videos and supporting resources, while helping us continually improve how learning is experienced across Kinyara Health.

You'll have the opportunity to shape learning that reaches employees across multiple brands, creating content that is both visually engaging and genuinely impactful.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing engaging eLearning modules and digital learning experiences
  • Creating learning pathways, assessments, guides, videos and supporting resources
  • Partnering with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather, structure and translate information into effective learning
  • Designing interactive learning experiences that improve engagement, understanding and knowledge retention
  • Writing clear, engaging and learner-focused content
  • Ensuring learning materials are visually appealing, accessible and aligned with brand and compliance requirements
  • Supporting deployment of learning content through LMS and digital learning platforms
  • Using learner feedback and insights to continuously improve content and learning outcomes
  • Leveraging contemporary technology and AI-enabled tools to enhance learning design and development

About You

You're a creative and technically capable Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer who enjoys building learning experiences that people genuinely engage with.

You have a strong eye for design and know how to transform complex information into content that is clear, intuitive and engaging. You're equally comfortable developing the written content, structuring the learning experience and building the final digital product.

You enjoy collaborating with subject matter experts, asking thoughtful questions and bringing ideas to life through well-designed learning. You take pride in producing work that looks great, functions well and creates a positive learner experience.

Our ideal candidate will also bring:

  • Experience designing and developing eLearning content using tools such as Claude Design, Storyline or similar authoring platforms
  • Strong instructional design capability and understanding of adult learning principles
  • Exceptional writing, editing and content development skills
  • A strong eye for visual design, layout and learner experience
  • Experience creating interactive digital learning experiences at scale
  • Confidence working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop high-quality learning content
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools
  • A collaborative approach and genuine enjoyment of working with others to create great outcomes

About The Good Stuff

  • Truly hybrid working with offices in Balaclava, Carrum Downs and Tullamarine, plus flexible work options
  • Opportunity to create learning used across a growing national organisation
  • Exposure to modern learning technologies and AI-enabled tools
  • Supportive team that values curiosity, creativity and continuous improvement
  • Flat organisational structure with access to Executive leadership
  • Opportunity to help shape the future of learning at Kinyara Health
  • Meaningful work that ultimately supports better outcomes for the people and communities we serve

About The Process

Our recruitment process includes an initial phone screen, interviews with key stakeholders and a psychometric assessment. We aim to keep things transparent, well-paced and communicative throughout.

We'd also love to see a cover letter!

Tell us your story. We're interested in more than job titles and dates. We'd love to hear what motivates you, what excites you about this opportunity and why you'd thrive in a team like ours! Help us understand the person behind the CV.

If you have examples of learning content, eLearning modules or digital experiences you've created, we'd love to see them, but a portfolio isn't required.

Apply now and join us on the journey to shape the future of Australian home care.
