Level 2/3 IT Engineer (MSP)

Salary: $85,000 – $120,000 per year

About the role

ASIT is seeking a talented Level 2/3 IT Support Engineer to join our growing team in Port Melbourne, Victoria. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for providing remote and on-site technical support and assistance to our valued clients.

ASIT offers working flexibility, allowing you to choose whether to work from home or from our office in Port Melbourne.

What you'll be doing

• Respond to and resolve a variety of IT-related queries and incidents via phone, email and through our RMM systems
• Build relationships with clients and take ownership of their environments
• Provide proactive technical recommendations to improve performance, reliability and security
• Handle escalations from Service Desk

• Manage deployment, configuration and maintenance of IT infrastructure and equipment both remotely and on-site
• Collaborate with the wider IT team to assist where required
• Maintain accurate records of all support activities and resolutions

What we're looking for

• A team player who works well with people and is happy to assist
• A real interest and understanding of technology, with the ability to pick up new concepts and technology quickly
• A knack for quickly identifying and resolving IT problems and an ability to adapt to meet client outcomes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with users at all levels
• Experience with Microsoft 365 & Azure, Hyper-V servers and networking (routers/switches/firewalls) required
• Familiarity with the ConnectWise suite, Huntress, Cisco/Meraki and HPe highly regarded
• Full Australian Driver's License required.
