About the role

Lead the delivery of reliable, secure and effective technology services across MDAS.

We’re looking for an experienced Manager ICT to lead our ICT team and oversee daily technology operations across our Mildura, Swan Hill, Kerang and outreach locations.

Reporting to the General Manager ICT, you’ll manage ICT service delivery, infrastructure, cyber security operations, technology suppliers, assets and approved ICT projects, helping ensure our people have the technology and support they need to deliver high quality services to community.

This will be offered as a full time, fixed term contract for a term of 3 years and is based at our Mildura office location, and includes regular travel to other MDAS locations. Participation in an after hours on call roster may also be required. Salary packaging is available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the ICT function across MDAS,
  • Coach, support and develop a capable, customer focused ICT team,
  • Oversee service desk operations, infrastructure, cloud services, networks, telecommunications and end user technology,
  • Manage operational cyber security controls, access management, vulnerability remediation and incident response,
  • Support ICT budgeting, forecasting, procurement and expenditure monitoring,
  • Promote culturally safe, respectful and inclusive service delivery.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing an ICT team,
  • Strong experience managing ICT operations within a multi-site environment,
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint/device management, identity and access management, networking and cloud technologies,
  • Strong understanding of cyber security controls, backup, disaster recovery and operational risk management,
  • Experience delivering ICT projects and managing competing operational priorities,
  • A commitment to respectful, culturally safe and inclusive practices when working with Aboriginal people, families and communities.

Other Requirements

  • Current National Police Check.
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check
  • Current Driver's Licence
