RPA Developer

Salary: £35,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Blue Prism and Power Automate, including Desktop Flows
• Solid understanding of RPA best practice and automation principles
• Financial Services or Insurance sector experience is desirable
• Comfortable working as part of a distributed team, including in-house and offshore colleagues
• Immediate availability and readiness to interview at short notice

Responsibilities

• Lead the lift-and-shift of existing automation processes into Power Automate Desktop Flows
• Work closely with our in-house Blue Prism-experienced RPA Developers and our development team based in India
• Assess existing automations and determine whether Power Automate is the right fit for each process before rebuilding it
• Rebuild and migrate automation processes into the new platform

We are a major player in Financial Services and Insurance, moving away from Blue Prism and migrating our automation estate to Power Automate Desktop Flows. This is a contract role based in Sussex with 2 days per week onsite, though more remote working may be considered for the right candidate. The contract is initially to the end of the year, with a strong likelihood of extension to March 2027. The rate is flexible depending on experience, the role is outside IR35, and the start is ASAP with an October start required.
