Compliance Analyst/Paralegal

Fairstead owns approximately $2.5 billion worth of real estate, comprised of over 11,500 market-rate, work-force and affordable rental units on behalf of its principals and investors with properties in 14 states and offices nationwide.

Fairstead is now seeking an Insurance Risk Analyst in a growth opportunity to work on tracking and administration of Fairstead’s real estate operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintenance, management, and administration of multiple insurance programs for Fairstead’s real estate portfolios and corporate operations

  • Collect, organize and track insurance data to be analyzed in spreadsheet form for policy renewals and navigating additions and deletions to policies for submitting monthly or quarterly adjustments to various programs

  • Respond promptly to requests for documentation of insurance regarding building operations and upcoming acquisitions

  • Accurately and neatly compile all receipts related to insurance coverage, company wide

  • Establish standard processes for data tracking, relevant policy deadlines, and overall summarization of insurance compliance organization wide

  • Processing potential claims and handling claims and litigation matters on a day-to-day basis


  • Bachelor Degree Required

  • 2+ years in the commercial insurance industry or risk management field, with paralegal concentration preferred

  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Enjoys working in and thrives thrive in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects

  • Experience with RMIS such as Riskonnect or Origami preferred.
