You Will Be Responsible For:

Responsible for outcomes in assigned areas

·

Maintains open communication and partners with clinical, financial, and administrative partners Focuses on process improvement strategies with special attentions to KPI metrics

·

Reviews reports, as available, and communicates outcomes to team and leadership in a timely manner providing accurate statistical records and reports

·

Assists in the development and monitoring of KPIs and facilities communication of KPIs as requested

·

Adheres to labor and budget guidelines; monitors time and attendance of team according to policy

·

Trains and evaluates team members

·

Coordinates and sets up schedules for team member training and education session

·

Monitors departmentâ™s work for accuracy and workflow

·

Identifies own learning needs and seeks opportunity for growth

·

Keeps up with assigned workload and seeks assistance when necessary

·

Initiates and assumes responsibility for new tasks independently as appropriate and as delegated by direct, local, and/or corporate leadership

·

Mentors team members; ensures performance is reviewed according to policy

·

Maintains rapport with ancillary departments

·

Works with Talent Acquisition for staffing needs

·

Ensures team members are oriented to the department at time of hire

·

Addresses progressive counseling according to policy

Performs other duties as assigned

This position is responsible for the management of the supervisor positions within Patient Access. This includes the scheduling, staffing, coaching, and mentoring of the supervisors that report to this position as well as the oversight through those supervisors of the Patient Access team.

Qualifications

What will you need:

  • Bachelorâ™s degree of Business Administration or related field OR four years of healthcare revenue cycle experience and two years of supervisory experience

  • Masterâ™s degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administrations, or related field preferred
  • National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) Member preferred

  • Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) preferred

Job Summary:

Plans, develops, organizes, directs, and manages all areas as assigned. Maintains communication and acts as a liaison between their department, clinical, and administrative partners. Ensures open communication and collaboration toward common goals. Creates and sustains a positive, productive, and collaborative work environment.
