The Opportunity

This position is only available to those eligible to work in the USA and you must live in either Florida, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Indiana or Wisconsin.

We are seeking individuals that value positive experiences and providing great service on every call. If you want to make a difference in the lives of people, then we want you to join our team! As a Customer Care Representative, you will be speaking with people who have filed for unemployment claims, initiating them into the State's process, clarifying information and entering data associated with their responses. Here's what we are looking for:

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Fluency in English (spoken & written) required; second or multiple languages are a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to show empathy with people during a time of crisis and distress
  • Excellent data entry skills and ability to navigate multiple computer screens while on the phone
  • Prior experience in a call center position preferred
  • Ability to think independently and make decisions, while adhering to standards and guidelines
  • Professionalism with a positive attitude and good work ethic
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Prompt and regular attendance required
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Tech requirements for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)

  • Download speed of 20 Mbps (minimum)
  • PC (not a Mac) with a Windows 10 operating system
  • Internet ethernet connection
  • Personal wired USB headset with microphone
