About Us: Remember Media is a new local start-up serving the Greater Memphis Area. We are a female-run company focused on providing social media management solutions for small businesses with small business budgets in mind. Local businesses are losing thousands in yearly revenue by not having a strong social media presence, and often, they don’t have the experience, time, or money to build their online presence. With COVID-19 shaking the Memphis economy and rapidly reshaping consumer behavior, local businesses need a solution to reach new prospects and remain visible to current clients. Remember Media wants to be their #1 choice by partnering with them on a customized monthly plan that reflects their company’s vision and goals.

This role requires the prioritization of developing and executing social media strategies for Remember Media’s small business clients that ensures all content aligns with each brand’s strategy and vision, as well as platform best practices. This role is also responsible for supporting the organization’s goal to become the top local social media solution by prospecting and onboarding new clients monthly, as well as collaborating with the Remember Media team for our own social content. (Some immediate internal goals are creating social plans and content for Youtube, IGTV and Tik Tok)

The ideal candidate is imaginative, proactive, solutions-oriented, adaptable to change, inclusive, strategic, data-driven, technologically savvy and has an expansive knowledge and interest in the ever-changing social media landscape. The candidate will also need drive for learning new sales strategies, a strong eye for compelling creative and trends, and open to positivity and fun in a start-up environment. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Attend training and coaching sessions to build client portfolio
  • Build trust and educate prospects by conducting presentations
  • Strive for excellent, streamlined communication and strong organizational methods
  • Design and curate visual assets and create copy for social media accounts
  • Assist with the creation of content calendars and manage the content posting schedule
  • Develop bi-weekly and monthly analytic reports and provide KPIs and recommendations
  • Manage the day-to-day social media engagements and tone-appropriate responses for clients
  • Regularly analyze best-in-class brands to inspire new ideas and executions
  • Collaborate with team members on projects and share successes and social media best practices to learn and grow together
  • Demonstrate cultural awareness and respect in communication
  • Perform general administrative duties for the organization


  • Minimum 2 years of social media brand management
  • Photography/Videography/Press Release/Email Campaign experience is a plus, with more earning potential
  • Bachelor’s degree, or in pursuance of, in related field
  • Strategic thinker with an understanding of analytics and social reporting
  • Has excellent attention to detail and strives to always learn so that you can truly own the position

Please note that this will begin as 1099 employment, with opportunities to become a W-2 employee in 2021. We are also only hiring those located in the Greater Memphis Area to focus on creating an awesome culture here before expanding into other markets. Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
