This position is all about interacting with customers to offer an exemplary service experience. It’s also about providing support to seasoned members of our customer care team and learning about many aspects of our e-commerce business from shipping to document creation to the ins and outs of customer service in the home furnishings industry.


Lending a hand - Fielding incoming phone and email inquiries, answering order status questions and following up with shipping vendors to advocate for customers' needs and wishes

Being a friendly voice - Taking inbound and making Outbound phone calls to customers to assist them with the delivery process and aid in scheduling

Keeping the conversation going - Maintaining customer pipeline of orders that need some extra TLC

Knowing your stuff - Becoming an expert on Apt2B's shipping and fulfillment practices and also our policies and procedures

Problem solving - Assisting in troubleshooting shipping related issues with customer orders


1 - 2+ years relevant experience in customer support environment

Top notch writing and typing skills

Top notch phone skills

E-commerce experience NOT required (but very much welcomed)

Familiarity with modern communication tools and google suite

Ability to confidently troubleshoot difficult issues and deal with unhappy customers at times

Ability to provide valuable feedback to exec team on ways to improve site, processes, procedures

Great organizational skills to be able to efficiently follow up on pipeline of customer inquiries

This position is being directly supervised by individuals with a great deal of customer care experience in the furniture and shipping industry. You will have all of the training and support necessary to be successful!


$17-19/hr depending on experience ($35k - $39k annually)
