General Office Clerk

$15 an hour

One of our clients, a West Hollywood showroom, is in search of a candidate to assist with pulling samples and memos and shipping them accordingly for one day. There will be a heavy flow of sample requests coming in from a trade show. The candidate will need to be comfortable with label creation and occasionally greeting guests as they come in.   • Provide accurate, friendly customer service without delay
  • Exercise proper data entry, word processing, filing, scanning, copying, and faxing
  • Interface with customers in a friendly manner
  • Supporting diverse projects for other employees as needed
  • Provide front desk and receptionist support
  • Place and receive telephone calls
  • Demonstrate command of prescribed style and format when drafting correspondence
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Word and Excel experience is desired
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required
  • Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Efficient in handling office equipment
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
  • This position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
  • Employer recommends 1+ years of Office Clerk experience for this position
