Part Time Van Driver: Utah Schools for the Deaf and Blind
Wasatch Transportation has part-time positions perfect for retirees, mothers, students, and the hearing impaired, driving for special needs children (hearing/sight) to and from school every day. Wasatch Transportation provides transportation for students attending the Utah Schools for the Deaf and Blind.
There is no experience needed. We will train you for the position. We are expanding and looking for drivers throughout the State.
Drivers will not be required to operate a vehicle larger than a ten passenger van. The van is kept at your place of residence. No commuting to start your day. Just walk out your front door, and you are on the road.
There will be a gas card to use for the van and a cellular phone all supplied and paid for by the company.
A standard day consists of a morning two-hour shift and another in
the afternoon. Depending on the age of the kids you will be assisting, as simple as 7-9 am then 2-4 pm.
It could also be earlier or later, depending on your assigned route. The driver will be paid regardless of students who ride that day or if the route is canceled.
You will be working Monday - Friday NO weekends! When the students are off with school breaks, you are as well.
All of our drivers must be at least 21 years old, pass a drug test, multi-state background check, and have a motor vehicle report ran all taken care of by the company.
