We welcome you to Pilates Studio City (PSC) - a comforting and inviting studio located in the San Fernando Valley. We are in our 15th year of business and have many loyal clients that have been with us for 10+ years! One of the attributes our clients love about our studio environment is how friendly and welcoming our Front Desk Coordinators are and they tend to build a strong rapport with them (that's where your love of helping people and top notch customer service skills come in!). Home to over 25 professional instructors, PSC offers an exceptional health and fitness experience, as well as employment opportunity, alike.

PSC provides Private Pilates and Gyrotonic sessions – as well as a host of innovative and exciting specialty group classes including but not limited to Pilates Mat and Group Reformer, Gyrokinesis, Total Body Burn, Stretch and DaVinci BodyBoard. All classes are designed as complementary techniques to enhance the lifestyle of whole body health.

This position reports to the studio managers and owners. Overall responsibilities include customer service, answering phones, scheduling appointments, sales and cleaning. Additional roles/duties may include but are not limited to: social media marketing, creation and execution of marketing materials, website/blog management, event planning and inventory management.

  • Exceptional time management / multi-tasking skills
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Exemplary intrapersonal skills; a genuine enjoyment and appreciation of all types of people
  • A creative, big-picture person able to break down a large scale vision into individual tasks
  • Ability to process phone messages effectively
  • Ability to track and coordinate instructor/staff schedules
  • A self-motivated person who takes pride in accomplishing every task to the best of their ability
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of High School diploma and have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

HIGHLY PREFERRED:

  • Experience in retail/fitness sales and scheduling
  • Experience with MindBody scheduling software
  • Flexible schedule
  • Experience with creating and executing various online media, social media and grass roots marketing campaigns
  • Graphic design experience a plus

The position is part-time, approximately 15 hours per week. The hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 4-8pm and Sundays 9:45am-12:15pm. There is a training period lasting 2-3 weeks and a probationary period to ensure it is the right fit for both parties. It is important to us that you feel comfortable and enjoy working with our team and vice versa! Training/probationary period starts at $12 per hour plus UNLIMITED FREE GROUP CLASSES.
