Job Purpose and Impact
The Regional Energy & Natural Resources Leader will provide technical leadership across the utilities areas to support our Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain (CASC) Plants in North America. This position will provide value creation by reaching a competitive advantage in overall manufacturing excellence with a goal of achieving continuous productivity improvements year over year. In this role, you will be focused on application of technology best practices, technology integrations and new ideas to execute solutions for operational concerns. This position will work on opportunities to develop the overall technology strategy within the CASCNA organization. Finally, you will partner with Global & Regional Natural Resource teams to align the strategy with Plant Operations Teams to ensure identification and implementation of initiatives with regard to cost optimization. Key Accountabilities
Identify and lead projects to improve Energy & Natural Resource opportunities as well as execute a strategy across the region. This position will deliver value for the business utilizing the appropriate continuous improvement tools, coordinating related programs, and sharing best practices in partnership with key regional and global teams.
Coordinate and support capex projects, including scope definition in line with local Capex teams, ensuring global standards and guidelines are followed while working to replace obsolete installations.
This position will also support start-up of new projects.
Define, build, and expand the execution of continuous improvement initiatives across the business through collaboration with key partners. This will include Safety and Food Safety standards regarding new utilities installations and support in generating and capturing value creation specific to Energy & Natural Resource initiatives.
Manage the Energy & Natural Resources Efficiency Data in the EnerNOC System.
Support operations to pursue production excellence for Energy & Natural Resource installations through direct leadership by implementing best practices and monitoring benchmarking KPIs while providing effective communication to provide results to leadership.
Develop, implement, and coordinate new Energy & Natural Resource solutions and innovations. Provide technical leadership on projects and initiatives across the region. This will include opportunities to leverage modeling technology and implementation of alternative renewable fuel technologies as well as carbon footprint reduction initiatives to continuously improve.
Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience leading the coordination and implementation of process improvements, balancing multiple priorities to achieve results
Experience performing analytical problem solving applying structured and principled methodology to identify root causes
Minimum of six years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with Natural Resources, Boilers or related assets
Lean six sigma
Working knowledge of utilities
