Internal Recruiter and Social Media Coordinator:

Position Overview:

SOCAL COUNSELING CENTER is seeking a PART-TIME (15hr/week) outgoing, social-savvy team member to help our company grow - both adding therapists and adding clients. This is a crucial position in our company and will report to our Director of Operations.

Three primary job functions:

1. Assist us in the growth of our team (psychotherapists/counselors) by reaching out and building relationships with therapists in our areas

2. Connect and engage with other therapists and our social media followers

3. Assist with special projects (ex: new CRM or new marketing ideas)

Specific Responsibilities:

* Source and connect with psychotherapists in SoCal or Central CA

* Nurture those relationships online, sharing our mission, values, and job opportunities

* Identify qualified therapists and encourage them to have 'online coffee with the owner' (aka interview)

* Assist social media vendor with content suggestions, scheduling and posting ads (IG, Facebook, Twitter, Linked In) for both attracting new clients and new therapists

* Create and monitor paid ads for psychotherapists

* Engage on social media with followers to build our followers

* Special projects coordination (our newsletter and others)

Location:

We are a counseling center with locations in several cities in southern California. However, our support staff resides in MN. Training will be done online or in MN. That said, you will be working from home. Our clients and clinicians are in CA, so you will be communicating and 'working in' Pacific time. We can negotiate the specific work hours as long as they are between 9 am-6 pm Central time.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Enjoy connecting online and talking to new people (candidates).
  • Be organized, consistent, and detail-oriented.

  • Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical research and social media skills. (We want to test FB ads for attracting therapists)
