Full Job Description

Be a part of a growing New Jersey lifestyle brand and website for parents — NJMOM is hiring a part-time (contract) social media associate (about 10-15 hrs per week with potential for more) to help with social media content on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include:

– Posting daily on social platforms (Instagram, Instagram stories, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) in fun ways to engage followers, including weekends and most evenings (must be a pro at making social videos/ reels)

– Sourcing unique memes, regrams and fun photos to engage the NJMOM community + creating your own

- Sponsored content knowledge and ability to assist with client partnerships on social

- Helping with graphics for social, including ability to make graphics in Canva

- Community engagement (commenting, DM's)

– Knowledge of fun family-friendly activities in New Jersey. You don't have to be a mom, but you have to be in the know.

– Knowledge of WordPress and Google Drive

- Familiarity with social trends, analytics, and more

- Video editing skills and creation of shareable videos

– Old school work ethic!

– Pay attention to detail, and have excellent writing, editorial, grammatical and communication skills

– People skills, ability to focus/stay organized under pressure, working well in a virtual team environment

- Canva experience a plus

- Prior social media management experience required

– Ability to work remotely

Once you email, we will be sending over a 10-question edit test to complete, and then scheduling interviews the following week.
