Position Summary

The Texas (TX) Program Specialist is responsible for supporting Texas affiliates of PATNC. These programs provide home visiting services to families from the prenatal period through kindergarten. The focus of the position is supporting new and expanding local programs.

Essential Functions

  • Implementation Support: (65%) Provide implementation support to Texas PAT programs via phone and email. Conduct site visits in communities throughout the state of Texas, requiring 1 to 3 nights of travel per trip. Work closely with communities as they start, maintain, and expand local PAT programs.
  • Program Support: (20%) Coordinate and/or develop training in topics related to early childhood, home visiting, or other applicable issues. Conduct presentations about Texas PAT, early childhood intervention, family support, referral systems, and related topics. Develop written materials to promote Texas PAT, early childhood intervention, family support, referral systems, and related topics.
  • Customer Service: (10%) Work collaboratively with home visiting program partners, state agencies, nonprofit organizations and individuals.
  • Other duties as assigned. (5%)
