Pathfinders, a full-service integrated marketing agency, is looking for an Account Executive who thrives on building relationships and moving work forward. At Pathfinders, our AEs aren’t order-takers; they’re the face of the agency for their clients. In this role, you’ll own day-to-day client communications, manage projects across multiple channels, and make sure everything we deliver is on time, on budget, and on brand.

This is a great fit for someone who brings urgency and curiosity to their work. Someone who’s excited to pivot between industries, dig into new client challenges, and keep projects flowing without losing sight of the details. If you’re reading closely, in the final question of the application, tell us one brand you admire (and why). We’re looking for AEs who bring perspective, not just presence.

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Set the Tone: You bring energy and clarity into every conversation. Even when things get tough, you make work feel doable, not draining.
  • Own the Outcome: You don’t just check boxes. You make sure the work connects to the bigger goal and moves projects forward.
  • Keep Growing: You stay curious, adapt quickly when things change, and see every challenge as a chance to get better.
  • We > Me: You believe great work is a team sport. You give credit generously, assume positive intent, and celebrate shared wins.

    • Translate client feedback and requests into actionable steps for internal teams
    • Provide a point of view in discussions — connecting client objectives to agency recommendations
  • Brand Management
    • Ensure all work meets brand standards and strategic objectives

    • Develop and manage project plans; monitor timelines, budgets, and KPIs
    • Proactively flag risks and resolve issues to keep projects on track

  • Internal & External Meetings
    • Lead and contribute to client meetings, presentations, and working sessions with confidence

    • Document and communicate outcomes clearly to all stakeholders

  • BSc./B.A. required
  • 3+ years of advertising or marketing agency experience required. Experience with agencies that have full-service offerings (digital, paid media, experiential, social, video, print) is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience with project management software, preferred (preferably in Kantata OX
  • Ownership: Takes full accountability for accounts, deliverables, and client communication
  • Proactivity & Urgency: Keeps projects moving; tackles tasks immediately and avoids bottlenecks
  • Confidence & Presence: Leads conversations with clients and internal teams; assertive without being abrasive
  • Strategic Point of View: Brings perspective to every meeting and connects client needs with agency solutions
  • Relationship-Driven: Builds rapport with different personalities and adapts communication styles
  • Curiosity & Adaptability: Digs into client industries/products and pivots seamlessly between diverse projects
  • Time Management: Prioritizes effectively to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to Detail: Consistently delivers polished, accurate work that inspires confidence
  • Team Collaboration: Works across functions to elevate others and contribute to a positive culture
