Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our Printing & Scanning firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with experience in corporate accounting. This role involves managing financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with budget preparation and analysis. The Accounting Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial data and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, accounts receivables & payables
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial reporting and data management
- Support credit analysis processes to assess the creditworthiness of clients
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and reviews
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Provide assistance during month-end closing processes
Experience
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role in the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and account analysis techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated financial acumen with the ability to analyze data effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
