Job Title: Accounting Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for performing various financial tasks, including , Double Entry Bookkeeping, Payroll with entry and quarterly tax reports, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Basic HR, and Completing State and Local Sales Tax Reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and possess excellent financial acumen.
Duties:
- Conduct bookkeeping tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with Payroll, Sales and Other Tax preparation and filing processes.
- Collaborate with teams to maintain adherence to company policies
- Demonstrate proficiency in handling financial transactions with precision.
- Enter and prepare Payroll on a weekly basis.
- Enter Invoices in Accounts Payable.
- Enter Inventory into accounting system
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role.
- Knowledge of accounting practices is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using accounting software (Foundation) and MS Office Suite.
