Project Overview:
Louisiana LNG is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will correspond with project personnel on commitment documents to ensure timely payment of invoices. You will collaboratively process, audit, research, and analyze invoices and actively resolve outstanding issues.
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.#LI-HB1
Major Responsibilities:
- Review, approval routing, and processing of supplier invoices
- Daily review of the AP hold report, ensuring that holds are cleared timely to ensure on-time invoice payment
- Coordination with the Service Center Accounts Payable organization for timely and accurate data entry Coordination with Procurement, Contracts, Project Controls, Project Management, and other departments involved in the AP process Communication with suppliers as needed to resolve issues and ensure accurate and timely invoicing to the project and payment to the supplier
- The position requires the ability to maintain confidentiality with a strong ethical behavior in workplace practices, a customer-service orientation with a demonstrated professional demeanor and communication style, flexibility, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- The position will ensure that financial controls and procedures are in place and that the project complies with Bechtel policies and contractual requirements.
- Additional duties may be assigned on an as required basis
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of accounting principles, concepts, and terminology Intermediate skill with MS Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Oracle Financials Above average communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Good initiative and ability to work independently while functioning effectively with a team environment
- Good business judgment in execution of assigned work and in understanding when issues need to be escalated for resolution
